Israel is likely the West’s preferred “winner” of any Middle East war.
The reason for that is likely that the West has “SINNED” in the Middle East. In 1948, the United Nations stole land from the Palestinians and gave it to the Jews. And the West, at this time, has no desire to REPENT.
Land theft and genocide are two of man’s most difficult problems to solve and the Bush team and its allies seem to prefer new wars to protect the 1948 theft of Palestinian land. The United Nations likely does NOT know what route to take since it caused the original problem. The Israeli-Arab conflict is now playing out for the umpteenth time. Mr. Bush’s brand of “peace” might include war – and maybe even a war to the finish.
Mr. Bush recently returned from the Middle East after planting the seeds of “peace/war”. And sure enough WAR broke out. Ex President Carter had brokered his Camp David Accord into a peace agreement between Egypt and Israel. The neocons had declared Ex President Carter as “IRRELEVANT” and apparently they did not handle all components of the Camp David Accord with care. Now Egypt is a factor in Israel’s war against HAMAS.
Israel now seems to be arrogant and rambunctious. Israel seems to be “WAR READY”. Mr. Bush has mentioned WWIII as a possible solution to a local war in the Middle East. Mr. Bush’s idea may be “MIND READY” for neocons.
In order to keep stolen property stolen – while surrounded by the victims of the theft, the new “owner” of the stolen property had to be armed – to the teeth. But how? Even though Israel was not a signer of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty – it did not have the necessary “ingredients” to build “THE BOMB”. Signatories to the treaty, who did have the ingredients, would likely make sure they did not become the main supplier of “ingredients” to a Middle East BOMB BUILDER – RIGHT?
Whatever happened to those 560 drums of yellowcake that vanished in the Middle East in 1968? Surely, after forty years, that yellowcake is not in yellowcake form. Was the Scheersberg event allowed to quietly die? The below link is a pointer to a Times Magazine story about the German built freighter Scheersberg:

Keeping the world in a state of “UNFAIRNESS” is becoming harder and harder. Eventually it will become impossible. Already the WEST does not control all the world’s nuclear weapons. Problem resolution had better come through diplomacy rather than the Bush team’s wars. Wars (cold and/or hot) seems to occupy a strong “intellectual” foundation for neocons. Diplomacy does not seem to be a “strong suit”. It may be that neocons are better at DEMOLITION than CONSTRUCTION. The neoconservatives differ from conservatives.
America(pre-neocon) and Russia had come to the conclusion that nuclear war was not a reasonable solution to conflicts – but then came the Bush team and its neocons who do seem to believe that wars, including nuclear, do solve problems. Neocons differ from conservatives.
