The floating rectangle and the “cancel” button are both new additions to my WordPress blog. They were likely put there by a human- being unknown to me.
What is it about freedom of speech that some people have trouble with? The majority of my content is political but I am not a politician – but I am an American citizen who does not like what is happening to America.
“Ask not what your country can do for you…” now seems to be a dead concept. America has done a lot for the current administration. A lot of America’s money has gone into the Iraqi war. “Nobody don’t know where it all went”. But politically connected companies have done well under the neocons while America’s treasury has suffered.
The neocons are now campaiging for re-election. What atta-boys can they present to the American people? Name one complex task that the neocons have attempted, and did not wind up a train-wreck. How can one ask America to keep one on the payroll if one’s performance is a train-wreck. Neo-cons have had eight years to accomplish something: what did they accomplish?
The neocons have nothing positive to talk about. They won’t talk about their performance. What they would like to make sure of – is that nobody else talks about their performance either. Toward that end:
Enter the canceled blog accounts and the “mine-field” of webpage nuisances. A whole war was started and basically the “TELL AMERICA PRESS” has forgotten to remind America. The Bush team is MUM. Senator McCain thinks the start of the Iraq war is a topic for an academic environment – rather than an impeachment environment. America’s values, ethics and other civilizing controls have been reset to lower levels. And the neocons and their “mouth-pieces” wants America to focus on who will talk to whom at a negotiating table.
Any American whose mind cannot conceive of an America on a steep decline may one day wake up to a shocking reality. America did not get to its current position by chance. The electorate steered America. It helps when the press does its job of informing America – but that may not be a high priority for a political party that has nothing to show for the time it “served” America.
