Netanyahu seeks ‘demilitarised Palestine’

By joejolly

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced he will back a Palestinian state – but only if it is completely demilitarised.

He said a Palestinian state must accept the existence of Israel and must have no army, no control of its air space and no way of smuggling in weapons.

Mr Netanyahu’s speech comes a month after US President Barack Obama urged him to accept a two-state solution.

The Israeli leader offered to talk to the Palestinians immediately.

He said he was willing to talk with no preconditions, adding: “We want to live with you in peace as good neighbours.”

Mr Netanyahu also said he was willing to go to Damascus, Riyadh and Beirut in pursuit of a Middle East peace deal. …

What STATE could the Zionists point out as an example of what the Zionists wants of the Palestinian state? The current condition of Hamas already comes awful close to what the Zionists seems to want of a Palestinian state.

All the Palestinians need do is to accept the existence of Israel and they already have the other Zionist requirements – no army, no control of their airspace and no easy way to smuggle in weapons. But the Zionist state added, it was willing to talk with no preconditions – after giving preconditions. If the “double-speak” is withdrawn, the deal is already about 2/3 done.

The Palestinians may not have been aware that they are already two-thirds of the way to their state – as envisioned by the 1947-48 Jewish and perhaps United Nations conquerors.

But the NEW state, would be at the complete MERCY of the Zionists state/(country?) – much like it is now. While the Palestinians would not even have vintage Orville and Wilbur Wright aircraft – Israel would have an air-force of “non-Iranian” built F16 fighter planes. While the Palestinians would not have access to cluster bombs, Israel would have. But maybe the Palestinians would not need to depend upon Israel for fuel oil and the like? That would be a new freedom for a new state of Palestine.

History, the United Nations(33 members), the Zionist state and others have not been kind to the Palestinians. The Palestinians were the unlucky owners of land coveted by a people who were brutalized by a European country. And giving the Jews land that was in the hands of the Palestinians may have been a way of making amends for what Europe, not the Middle East, did to the Jews.

When the sun finally did set on that Empire that the “sun never sat on”, darkness descended upon multiple countries of the world – among them – Palestine.
