The “Tell America” press has associated ‘profligate spender’ with President Obama’s visit to China. By and large, the “Tell America” press missed associating that expression with the spending of the Bush administration. This kind of ”stuff” compels one to attempt to define the components of a “NEWS” organization – at least the components with an “interface” to the civilized world.
Two of the main components, used by the press to interface with the civilized world are columnists and reporters. Although they both are journalists, they don’t both require the same relationship with TRUTH. Is it true that President Barack Obama is the ‘profligate spender’? Right off the bat, one knows that to be an OPINION. Some news sources alert their readers to OPINION – some don’t. And sometimes OPINION even gets ‘camouflaged’ as truth.
Critical reading is important today because one might not be told if one is reading the output of ANALYST, REPORTER, COLUMNISTS or perhaps even the output of “fair and balanced” news reporting. Critical reading might detect which type news source is speaking. And once you know that – you might know you have “REACHED THE PARTY TO WHOM YOU ARE SPEAKING”. Laugh-in’s ”Lily Tomlin” always made her “connection” test and with news sources like the “fair and balanced” one in the mist of the civilized world, one can never be too careful.
Obama is spending to right a capsized economic ship.
The neocons spent money for wars and rumors of wars. The neocons spent the treasury surplus that Ex-President Bill Clinton left after he was impeached by the neocons for failing to tell the truth about improper touching – a personal matter. This neocon engineered impeachment introduced America to a DOUBLE STANDARD in the impeachment process. If Ex-President George W. Bush did not deserve impeachment – nobody did.
But Ex-President Bill Clinton left America a surplus in its treasury – as one would expect a responsible manager of a country’s treasury to try to do.
The neocons spent America’s “petty-cash” treasury and then proceeded to “max-out” its credit card. And all the time while spending freely, they doled out tax-cuts that enhanced the wealthy’s financial condition. The neocons’ financial management style is not called “voodoo economics” for nothing.
Sure enough, the demolition of America’s economic framework was successful and the demolition squad is now ready to change hats and become the construction squad to build their “intuitive” version of a ‘free market’. HELP!
And the “TELL AMERICA” press associated “ profligate spender” with President Barack Obama’s trip to China? How irrational!
While President Obama battles to get America’s economy back to its pre-latter-day neocons’ days and to keep Al-Qaeda and the neocons at bay – the thought of the “TELL AMERICA” press must also be kept in mind. President Obama needed to defend, against both the neocons and Al-Qaeda. The neocons viciously attacked the Presidents Nobel Peace prize. And no wonder – because:
The neocons couldn’t muster a magazine’s ‘man of the year’ award.
After the neocons “reformatted” America, Americans must watch for the enemy from the front and watch for the neocons in back. Perhaps if Valerie Plame had known that during the neocons’ search for justification for their Iraq war, she might still be working as a covert agent for the CIA – maybe.
The neocons are in a class by themselves
America is a financial mess – but there are those who profited handsomely from America’s financial mess. The money lost during the recession was real money – not necessarily lost value of a product or a home. And that is where the “smoke and mirrors” come into play. WHAT RECESSION?

Trying to taint the Obama administration with the neocons’ economic mess has been in the forefront of the neocons “contribution to America”. If the neocons had taken the responsibility for all of their train-wrecks, they themselves might have become customers for the recreational drugs that the CIA sold to America’s men, women and children during the 80’s. A drug problem still exists in America today.
The neocons are in a class by themselves
Sure President Barack Obama is a spender. You don’t get out of recession FREE. And not admitting to the reality of a recession, as the neocons did, does not mean the recession never existed.
The neocons are in a class by themselves
