Financial Goals Set By Neocons Against A Great Recession Backdrop

May 31, 2011

America’s Great Recession, heatedly denied by America’s economy managing neocons, started in December of 2007. But America’s neocons continued their spending habits as if there was no recession. The organization charged with the responsibility of defining recessions said December of 2007 was a financial peak. And America’s intellect would reason that after a peak, comes a fall.

However, dueling ideas were delivered to America’s CURRENT EVENTS news pool. From America’s highest office came a denial of the recession. And bloggers added their “two cents worth” to the “definition” of recession.

Sorry – but America’s economic foundation is solid – said one. So, there was no recession because America’s financial house sat on a solid foundation. There is more to a financial house than its foundation. Joejolly commented that the roof of America’s financial house was ablaze while the neocons were focusing on the foundation.

It is the job of America’s CURRENT EVENTS news pool to educate Americans. Those Americans who have left the formal education environment get their information via America’s CURRENT EVENTS news pool. And that fact is not lost on the neocon press whose growth through acquisitions has been noticeable.

The content of America’s CURRENT EVENTS news pool makes it critical that the “wheat is separated from the chaff” – or, as joejolly might say, make sure your “common sense latch” is turned on as you read content from America’s CURRENT EVENTS news pool.

At the very top of America’s neocon political leadership came questions about the “identity” of this thing called a recession. And the neocons went to Poland. Poland is “next door” to Russia. The neocons wanted so much to place rockets next door to Russia. And the neocons, while warding off what they seemed to be calling a “bogus” recession(it’s real and they caused it) wanted to consume the following expense:

While denying the below expense:

The war-mongering party(neocons) that wanted to spend “tons” of money on war – now wants to yank un-employment compensation from America’s un-employed. And America’s ombudsmen(voters) brought them back into a leadership role in government.

The neocons’ promised civil war has begun. And the current war weapon is America’s recession. Any tool in the wrong hands can be a weapon. A Great Recession, in the wrong hands, can be a weapon. And that weapon, in the hands of the neocons, is being used to attack the neocons’ political opposition.

When A Village Raised Kids, How Did Kids Say “KISS MY BUTT”?

May 30, 2011

Back when it took a village to raise a child – kids had to be very careful how they expressed dissatisfaction with other kids. Any mama who saw or heard a kid saying the equivalent of “Kiss My Butt” would surely tell your mama. And then you would be in for a “child abuse” session with your mama. Back then child abuse laws, if they existed, did not seem to be enthusiastically enforced.

Joejolly described this procedure in an earlier post but here we go again. First make sure NO mama’s are in sight. Next face your adversary but with some distance between the two of you. Next rotate, 180 degrees,  your body on its vertical axis. Your back now faces your adversary.

Bend at the waist until your upper torso is approximately parallel with the ground. You could if so desired peek between your legs to see that the targeted kid was still facing you(or now your back).

What you are now in position to do is something nobody’s mama should see you do. For if she did she would surely tell your mama and there would definitely be problems for you.

If need be, you still could abort the action but if there were no mamas in sight – you could complete the process. One or two pats on your right cheek(right-handed) or left cheek(left handed) would likely have the desired effect on your target. And the “cheeks” mentioned are not on your face.

Don’t be surprised to hear your target say, “I am going to tell your mama on you”.

Kids are somewhat restricted as to how they express their emotions. But when a kid grows up to become a GROWN MAN, he can say “KISS MY BUTT”.

And the Grown man does not have to target a single person. The GROWN MAN can target a whole organization – men, women and children. And if there is a wide expanse of the grown man’s BUTT, it can accommodate three butt kissers at a time. However, one of the butt kissers would have to face the “crack”.

Since 1980, my how America’s politics has changed!

Neocons – The Scourge of The West

May 30, 2011

Whether the category is race relations, capitalism or political competence, the neocons have made their marks on the West and the world.

They have used racial differences to get votes from those Americans who harbor a racist attitude. They have caused grave damage to capitalism in attempting to satisfy personal greed. And by now, their political incompetence is “legendary”.

Why did America’s ombudsmen(voters), after experiencing twenty-some-odd years of neocons, continue to sacrifice America? A large part of that answer comes from America’s racist component. There is significant “butt kissing” racism still living in America – both below and above the Mason-Dixon line.

The neocons took special actions to appeal to America’s racism voting bloc. Cocaine was sold in minority neighborhoods of Los Angeles, California. Minority neighborhoods were singled out for the neocons’ caging treatment.

The neocons took personal greed to new highs. Had labor crashed America’s economy – labor would have been trying to hang on to its jobs. But the neocons, who were managing the Great Recession, were looking for million dollar bonuses. It was said that without the bonuses, the “best” people would go elsewhere. WOW!! That sounds like a good idea – especially since the economy is now “GLOBAL”.

After twenty-some-odd years of conditioning America’s ombudsmen(voters) and “ripping off” America’s treasury, the impact on both started to show. America’s treasury became depleted of “ready cash” and America’s ombudsmen(voters) seem to have become depleted of something in a different category.

It should not have been easy to “dummy up” a country that had survived, in good standing, for some 300 years – but as the saying goes – where there is a will there is a way. And 1980 brought that “way” into American politics.

In 1980, Ronald Reagan – the original neocon, started it off with his “supply side economics” – which became, affectionately(?) known as VOODOO ECONOMICS. And, in the same breath, the idea – “how the West was won” turned into “how the West was lost”.

Evidence of the neocons earthly politics should not be lost to future generations. But that is currently the trend. The stated reason for the Iraq war may differ from the real reason for the Iraq war.

The neocons have truly made their mark on the West and indeed the world.

The Internet, in the Wrong Hands, Can Be a Weapon

May 29, 2011

And today, on the BBC WEBSITE we read:

US defence firm Lockheed Martin hit by cyber-attack

“Yesterday”, it was StuxNet. And much of the talk of StuxNet’s origin centered on government/s.

The Internet is an “open invitation” to antics of, “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly”. Will the Internet, as it is currently configured, be replaced by a communications system that is more secure. Iran now wants its own Internet. Will other countries follow suit?

The Internet was designed as a communication system that could deliver a message in time of war. A single Internet message leaves its source as a message broken down into bits and pieces. And those bits and pieces can each take different paths to the same destination. It is more difficult to disable that kind of communication system.

But, as usual, the nature of a tool depends upon whose hands that tool is in. Countries, Businesses and individual’s hands can express themselve via the Internet tool. But the results of those expressions can range from a gift of an open source program all the way up, or perhaps down, to a “gift” of StuxNet. And with little Internet oversight in place, the Internet can follow other major communications tools into a VAST WASTELAND.

The nature of a tool depends upon whose hands that tool is in along with the overall government management of that tool. The world is still evaluating the choice between REGULATION, DE-REGULATION and NEVER REGULATED. In critical and important communications systems, the answer ought to be obvious. But the “inertia” tool is a tough tool to get moving. YOU SEE – IN TODAY’S NEOCON WORLD EVERYBODY HAS REASONS TO SUSPECT EVERYBODY ELSE’S MOTIVES.

Wars And War Crimes

May 29, 2011

Generally when one speaks of war crimes, citizens of an involved nation have no power to act. But back in 2007 came a surprise. Citizens of the UK did have power to act. British law allows private citizens to file complaints of alleged war crimes. And that produced this BBC NEWS headline:

Israeli avoids UK arrest threat

And these comments:

An Israeli minister has cancelled a visit to the UK over concerns he could be arrested on war crimes charges.

The foreign ministry said an “extreme leftist” organisation was likely to file a legal complaint against Public Security Minister Avi Dichter.

He was the domestic intelligence agency chief in 2002 when Israel bombed a Hamas military leader’s house killing him, his bodyguard and 15 civilians.[...]

[...]The visit was called off after the UK government had been unable to guarantee him immunity, his office said, in the event of a private citizens complaint leading to an arrest warrant for war crimes.

‘Mistaken attack’

The Shin Beth agency, headed by Mr Dichter between 2000 and 2005, helped plan the assassination of Hamas military commander Saleh Shehada in July 2002.

Nine children were killed in the raid. A one-tonne bomb was dropped on Mr Shehada’s house. The dead included his wife and his three children.[...]

Would remembering that atrocity bring a standing ovation from America’s neocon Congress? Would high ranking neocons who started the Iraq war feel safe in a visit to a country whose citizens might have the audacity to bring war crime charges against them?

Some crimes don’t have a statute of limitations.

It Didn’t Take Long To Find The Neocons’ Answer To The New Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

May 28, 2011

THE HILL’S “On The Money” Blog has this post: “By blocking its leader, GOP constrains new consumer bureau’s reach

Peter Schroeder’s post continues:

Republicans might have found a way to constrain the power of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: make it an agency without a leader.

The increasingly bitter fight over whether Elizabeth Warren should head the new agency might have the happy side effect, from the GOP’s perspective, of limiting what the bureau can do. [...]

Now answer me this: Why would America’s ombudsmen(voters), being of sound mind and body, “shoot themselves in the foot”?

It is obvious that the neocons political base is big business. And big business “don’t like no consumer financial protection bureau“. Must America’s ombudsmen(voters) be protected from themselves?

This kind of political behavior, on the part of America’s ombudsmen(voters), may have emboldened even a company that sells cheeseburgers in Ohio, to make political demands on its employees. And cheeseburgers are not considered a health food.

If America’s ombudsmen(voters) started focusing on “eating healthy” – who knows?

The neocons are bad-mouthing government. The fox bad-mouthed grapes. Both had similar reasons for their actions.

America’s ombudsmen(voters), after twenty-some-odd years of neocon train-wrecks ought to have learned something. But did they?

Did You Know that Senator Rand Paul’s Toilet Is Broken?

May 28, 2011

It’s those “damn” government regulations again. That’s why the Rand Paul bunch wants to de-regulate everything – including toilets. They have already de-regulated DERIVATIVES. And that brought down the world of capatalism.

Senator Rand Paul is the sensational neocon politician whose quick mind/mouth spoke these words: Obama BP criticism ‘un-American’. And listen to this: “he designed his own budget.” And the article says that is something the Democrats have not done. WOW!! By the visible indications, this is the man to fight the cause of America’s worse economic conditions since the last time Republicans crashed America’s economy in 1929. And he knows how to do his own budget. WOW!!

And get this:

This week Mr. Paul’s parliamentary maneuvers nearly caused the Patroit Act to expire and forced hundreds of colleagues in both chambers of Congress to reconsider their travel plans before a holiday weekend so HE could fight for amendments to that bill.

WOW!!

What a man! What a politician! What a neocon! What sensationalism! And that was only a one ring show. There is more where that came from. It should be easy to get a THREE RING SHOW out of the current batch of neocons in America’s Congress. Some will start to think of this man as a “Charlie Brown”.

Rand Paul’s antics do get the attention of the press. Charlie Brown occupied the “comic section” of newspapers. But the New York Times does not have a comic section. So the Rand Paul story appears on the front page.

Hope Mr. Paul gets his toilet fixed soon. Its terrible to have a broken toilet. You could get filled with something that’s not mentioned in “polite” surroundings. Could a quick political call to “joe the plumber” render the toilet functional?

Perhaps we should “tune in tomorrow” to follow the continuing saga of the neocon Senator whose toilet is broken. Lets put the wrecked economy on the back burner so we can deal with a broken toilet.

Big Business is Well Organized And Shows Hints of Monopolistic Features

May 28, 2011

Even an Ohio professional cheeseburger maker feels comfortable in suggesting, by way of employee paychecks, that employees become neocons. But then again, Ohio has been SENSATIONAL – hasn’t it?

Big Business is responsible for its bottom line only. And enhancing the “bottom line” of Big Business is the current version of America’s Supreme Court. It has “greased the skids” so that Big Business can more than compete with the 1 man 1 vote rule and in addition remove the political risks of politicians accepting money secretly and illegally from big business. There may no longer be a need for political “money laundering” trials if political “money laundering” is now legal.

It has been awhile since consumers exerted themselves. And it shows.

Many years ago, boycotts and sit-ins were the tools used by consumers to restrain or eliminate the bad habits of Big Business. It has been awhile since consumers exerted themselves. And it shows.

Now big business is telling employees who to vote for. Under the management of the neocon government, the trek toward fascism has moved forward.

There was a hint of consumer fairness in the air back in 2009. Elizabeth Razzi at voices.washingtonpost.com said:

One Step Closer to a Consumer Financial Protection Agency“.

But America’s ombudsmen(voters) political choices in America’s House of Representatives has made the above idea quite unlikely to grow in the neocon House of Representatives. Neocons are not likely to favor something their political base opposes. So, the ball is likely back in the America’s consumers court.

Take Care of Mother Earth Or She May Take Care Of You

May 28, 2011

Gingrich now wants expanded drilling in order to bring down the price of gasoline. This sounds like the old “supply and demand” theory on the setting of prices. This sounds like the now “obsolete” idea of prices being set or controlled by a customer who intended to consume the product. The neocon era has let-loose a new player in the pricing of gasoline – speculators.

Speculators don’t intend to consume the product – just impact the price.

The below graph shows how the price of oil has changed over time.

Of particular interest might be the huge jump in oil price that occurred in 2008. The price of oil shot up to $90.00 a barrel. Why? Business didn’t tell and the neocons, the neocon press, bloggers and mouth-pieces didn’t ask.

The price of oil carried the price of gasoline along with it. But when the price of oil descended – it left stranded, the high price of gasoline.

Big Oil has been messing with the price of gasoline since 1973. That’s when America was told that Europeans were paying $1.00 a gallon for gasoline. America was paying $.35 a gallon. A shortage of gasoline at America’s pumps developed.

“Shortage” of gasoline produced long lines at America’s gas pumps. Those long lines helped condition America for what was coming next – price increases. The shortage dissappeared after the price of gasoline approached Europe’s price. Perhaps there was a shortage of $0.35 a gallon gasoline while the supply of $1.00 a gallon gasoline was plentiful.

The above graph shows many other factors that affect the price of oil. From the graph, one can see that, in addition to supply – anything that threatens that supply may also be a price factor. But the graph may have missed the reason for the historical jump in oil price in 2008. Could speculators have played a role in setting oil prices outside the “supply and demand” factors?

Back in 2008, the below article was published on THE HUFFINGTON POST web site:

Oil Speculators Cost Consumers $31 Billion this Summer. And the neocons don’t seem to have any interest in this factor of pricing.

[The first step in problem resolution is problem recognition. But for some reason the neocons go off on a tangent when attempting to solve problems that involves their political base. Reckless drilling, scrapping, garbage dumping and the like may earn man the same results that the dinosaurs got.]
