The neocons, notorous for transferring resources from others to their political base, are now trying to transfer control of the Internet to their political base. They have been doing this kind of thing since 1980. They transferred much of America’s treasury, via TAX CUTS, to their political base. They transferred Iraq’s oil via the Iraq war to their political base. And now they are eyeing transferring the Internet to their political base.
America’s elite have been eyeing and commenting on the Internet for quite some time. Former President George H.W. Bush’s message spoke to an ugly political climate:

The late Steve Jobs’ message was:
We shouldn’t become a “nation of bloggers”.
“We all moved to reading on the Web…What we have to do is get people to start paying for this hard-earned content.”

Business did not create nor purchase the Internet. The Internet belongs to the American people. But the neocons are in the process of changing that.
